Matchy Matchy

Last week I bought a few yards of fabric at my favorite store to make matching outfits for my three lovely ladies-my two daughters and niece.  At the time, I couldn’t decide if matching outfits was a horrific  idea or an adorable one.  To be honest, I still haven’t reached a conclusion…. Regardless, we suited them up and dragged the girls off for a day at the museum.  Here’s how they looked.

Everyone was a good sport and wore their top all day.

little heart!

I was going to sew initials on as well, but decided that a 7 year old may be a little too old for a monogram.  Everyone got hearts added instead.

I’ve been sitting in some super air-conditioning and have started knitting a giant blanket.  I’m pretty sure I’ll abandon this project when we get home to our hot house, and try picking up that strapless dress again….

My sewing machine keeps calling to me…thank you for inspiration to start sewing for my granddaughters. I read your comment on Jen’s blog and that’s how I found your blog. I love the Harry dog with seaweed you made for Hank. I’ve been reading that book to children for 40 years and he’s never looked cuter.
